Introducing

Introducing Gallery Eun

Gallery Eun was opened to explore contemporary art, realize its value, and provide a place for intellection that inspires life through art. Insa-dong, where the gallery is located, is a neighborhood lined up with galleries and stores with history and has long been a place frequently visited by art lovers. Moreover, it serves as a center for small and large exhibitions that are consistently held through time.
Gallery Eun presents a wide range of exhibitions without boundaries to continue the historical context of culture and art unique to Insa-dong. To achieve this, we operate a high-end rental exhibition business that attracts attention to new and established artists and introduces the works of talented artists to all visitors of the gallery.
We look forward to your interest in Gallery Eun, where everyone can enjoy culture and art freely—a place where a new exhibition paradigm connecting the past-present-future unfolds.

Introducing the Architecture

Architectural Philosophy

A dominating façade designed by beautifully fusing tradition with modernity. A void space where visitors can view large-scale artworks with impact. Window galleries and showcases that catch the attention of visitors.
Gallery Eun, in collaboration with David-Pierre Jalicon of D.P.J & Partners, presents an architecture that stands out in a beautiful harmony between tradition and modernity. The façade of the outer wall that was combined the unique pattern of traditional ‘MAEDEUP’(knot) with vertically extending arches presents an exceptional sense of dominance, and the wooden louver on the 1st-floor ceiling creates a sense of rhythm, offering a unique spatial experience.
Gallery Eun has a total of two exhibition spaces. To be in line with the original mission of the gallery, we constantly thought about the compositions that would make artworks stand out, and the exhibition halls were finished with a warm white tone to capture the simplicity that goes with the atmosphere of Insa-dong.
Gallery Eun, which encompasses tradition/modernity and splendor/simplicity, is a landmark loved by everyone in the quiet heart of Insa-dong.

The lively façade of Gallery Eun will become a landmark in Insa-dong.
